Announced Preliminary Results for the year ended 31 December 2007, Profit before
tax from continuing operations increased by 27% to £11.6m(2006 £9.1m), Earnings
per share from continuing operations of 12.8p (2006: 12.8p,adjusted following
share consolidation), Successful Placing and Open Offer raising over £41.4m to
part fund acquisition of Vernons and provide additional working capital for
investment in enlarged Group

Announced the consolidation of every ten of the Company's ordinary shares
of 5p each into one new ordinary share of 50p has become effective

Sportech purchased Ladbrokes Vernons football pools business for £51 Million, £45
million will
be payable on completion and a further £3 million in each of the two years
following completion.
A one for ten share consolidation is being proposed, so that for every ten

Pools has been referred to the Competition Commission by the Office of Fair
Trading, A Merger of Vernons with Sportech's Littlewoods and Zetters operations
would see Sportech with a increased share of the Football pools Market with no
main competitors.
